Thermostatic Radiator Valves

Thermostatic radiator valves are mechanical control systems which regulate the heat emission of a radiator. Thermostatic radiator valves are tested in our test beds according to EN 215. WSPLab has been approved by CENCER and the European national certification bodies. By participating in the European certification programme and complying with the requirements, the manufacturers are authorised to use the KEYMARK certification mark (formerly the CEN registered mark of conformity) for thermostatic radiator valves. The applicant may choose to which certification body he submits his application.

The initial test comprises 29 individual tests specified in the standard. These include:

To comply with the requirements check tests must be carried out every year and the type test of the valves must be repeated every four years.

Test reports will be provided in three languages (English, French, German). Annual inspections must also be carried out at the manufacturer's premises by the certifying member or its representative. The requirements with regard to quality are carried out in accordance with the certification rules.
